About the instructor
Kurt Baert started his Ninjutsu training in 1987 in a local Belgium club in Waarschoot (Flanders).
From 1988 he trained under the guidance of bujinkan shihan Brin Morgan, who granted him his shodan (black belt) in 1995.
Meanwhile the ninjutsu club in Eeklo was founded (since 1991) where he still trains today.
From 1996 Kurt trained with different European shihans including Pedro Fleitas, Arnaud Couserge en Svenerik Bogsater on several seminars.
He also attended a number of taikai’s in Europe under the guidance of Hatsumi sensei (Bujinkan soke)
From 2001 he travelles on a yearly basis to Japan to train under Hatsumi sensei and the Japanese Shihans.

Ever since then (2000) he usually traines with Pedro Fleitas (15th dan), one of the most profound teachers within the bujinkan dojo and founder of the bujinkan Goshin unryu dojo.
